Behind The Painting

"One summer evening my oldest daughter found a large rock at the Boise river. It looked like a painting of a mountain and river. She gave it to my husband. He brought it home and asked me to create the rock image as a painting for our home. As I was playing around with the palette, I was inspired to create this Idaho design. It will always remind me of our many summer nights as a family spent down by the river chasing kids and throwing rocks."
